Article classification is used to classify and manage the articles created by the exchange, as shown in the figure below. The system defaults to two categories (in different languages, the category names may be different):
Bottom navigation: Articles under this category will be displayed on the bottom footer on the web side;
Help center: Articles under this category will be displayed in the APP Help Center;
Articles in the bottom footer or sub-categories of the Help Center will not be displayed in the corresponding position;
Taking the web-bottom navigation as an example, the display style is shown in the figure below.
Click the [Add] button in the top left corner or the [Edit] button in the column “Operation" on the right of the interface to add or edit the directory of article classification. The interface is shown in the figure below.
The editorial notes are as follows:
Classification name: The name of the classification at the back end, which makes it easy for distinguishing and management. Note that this name is not displayed at the front end.
Classification ID: The unique number of the classification in the directory of all language classifications. It is created automatically and cannot be changed.
Sorting number: The sequence number of each subclassification and each article of the same classification level or under the same classification. It is usually filled in with one decimal place of Arabic number. The front end of the system sorts the number from left to right in the ascending order (from small to large numbers); if the numbers are the same, it will sort them in chronological order (it is not recommended to set the same sorting number).
Language: For you to set the language directory to which the classification belongs. Only one language can be selected. After editing, click the "Article Classification" drop-down menu at the top of the page, as shown in the figure above. Select the language, and then click the [Search] button on the right to view the classifications and subclassifications of each language. Note that one set of directories is matched for each language, which needs to be edited separately.
Superior classification: For you to edit the subordination relationship between classifications. If "All" is selected, it refers to the first-level classification of the language.
After editing, click [Confirm] to complete adding or editing.
Click the [Delete] button in the rightmost column “Operation" in figure above to delete the subcategory. Note that the first-level classification is undeletable. If the first-level classification is wrongly created, you can open "Edit" and change it to a subclassification under a certain first-level classification in the "Superior Classification" option, and then delete it.
